Rob Wylie Assumes Role As CTO
Victoria, BC, August 18, 2014 – Digital Cavalier Technology Systems Inc. (DCTS) is proud to announce the appointment of 30 year applied intelligent systems veteran, Rob Wylie, as CTO of Youneeq – the next generation in Adaptive Behavioural Targeting for enterprise level websites. Wylie will play a key role overseeing the development of strategic vision, requirements and definitions of architecture as the company continues with growth and leadership.

Wylie holds a PhD in Systems Engineering from the University of Waterloo, with an extensive background in applied research and project/team management. Working with The National Research Council of Canada, Wylie has researched and developed physical systems simulation and modeling tools; has applied rule based and case based reasoning techniques to industrial problems; has developed model-based knowledge organization frameworks and system architectures for knowledge based high level control and decision support/automation.
“Youneeq is at a very interesting point in its development,” says Wylie. “We are seeing a discrete change in the level of interest shown by our target client base; we have in place a well thought-out (scalable, robust, extensible maintainable…) technical infrastructure, and our recommendation algorithms show impressive results over a broad range of environments (without the need for heroic amounts of labour for customization and integration). I look forward to working with the team that has built Youneeq to this point and I see my role in the coming year or two to be primarily concerned with putting in place the project management, software engineering, planning etc. practices we’ll be requiring as the company grows.”
Wylie replaces former CTO, Steve Graham, while Graham continues with the company as Technical Advisor.
